Ex-tempore stay, which turned out to be great experience. Idyllic rural farmhouse vibes.
Great value, affordable accommodation in Finnish Lapland. Warm welcome and they served lovely steak dinner. Sauna was available throughout the evening.

Now the old man from Lihasula was disappointed with the marketing. I thought I would avoid places on the main roads. I ended up at Kieringi Holiday Village thanks to the marketing. It seemed good.
Marketing and reality didn't exactly meet. Well, these things happen. We returned to Sodankylä.
The payment for the night's accommodation has already been charged. The amount won't break the budget. I'm not going to haggle back. This makes for a good family story. "Yes, dad knows how"
I made the reservation through the Campcation app.

Excellent place for a relaxing holiday.
The hotel has a rustic style, built entirely in wood, as do the Bungalows just 300 meters away. Next to the Bungalows there is also a large outdoor space for caravans and tents equipped with electricity and bathrooms. Between the hotel and the Bungalows there is a supermarket with a little bit of everything for everyday life and also a gas station.
The couple responsible for this place could not be nicer and more friendly, always willing to help with whatever is needed.
The breakfast is very delicious and made with local and natural products.
I highly recommend it for couples or families with or without children.
Around there are lakes and a river where we can fish, swim or simply relax and make the most of nature.
From September to February we can also enjoy the Northern Lights on clear nights.
It couldn't be better to have all these conditions at the same time.
Whenever I can I will come back here to enjoy all this and especially the kindness of the couple who run this fantastic place.

We are here in winter so there' s a lot relaxing. Here' s a lot of snow, a true artic aerea. We have a great vaccation home, with sauna.The breakfast is great und huge.
If you like lonelyness for a few days, you are on the right place. The owners are very friendly and helpful people. They manage also a little shop and cafe.

I'm in Finland a lot. This accommodation was the BEST I was allowed to live in so far.
SUPER nice owner, very nice rooms, delicious breakfast and very quiet and beautiful location.

We stayed there for 3 days, January 24-25-26. It's a 2-hour drive from Rovaniemi, but if you have a car, it's in a very pleasant location in the forest. Because it's far from the city lights, we had the chance to see the Northern Lights twice on the way. It operates on a breakfast-included basis, it's a warm and charming family-run business, breakfast is a buffet with local specialties. The couple are very attentive, you can communicate in English, the houses are clean, there's a sauna inside, and all the necessary kitchenware is available.

We had an awesome experience staying here. The host and hostess are awesome host.
The dinner is simple but the taste is simply too good to describe. The bake potatoes are moist, the bake chicken is tasty and moist too. Not to leave out their smoked salmon.
After dinner we went back to our little cabin, but we did not stay in for long, as someone in other cabin share Aurora lights can be seen above our cabins. Can’t imagine we are able to see them as it was still snowing. How lucky we were then.

We were here on a tour group and we like this hotel very much. The rooms are clean even though it's small but got enough for 2 people. You get to experience a cottage hut experience. The owner couple are very nice. You must order their dinner. They cook very deliciously. The place is a very old traditional cottage. You can really experience the traditional Finnish cuisine. The bread, fish, chicken and desserts are all delicious.

A very homely place run by a husband and wife team.
We thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality here.
The location is ideal for aurora watchers in the autumn/winter and looks perfect for hiking in spring/summer.
The small slope at the back of the property is an excellent place to see the auroras.
Room is cozy and warm. A public sauna also available.
We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner prepared by the owners. Home cooked meals far from home is a rarity to be cherished.

A heartwarming place in the Arctic region. The place is run by a couple, so they are your reception, kitchen, cleaning everything. Rooms are tidy and comfortable. Hot water is also running well. Open the rear door and you are on a small hill to be able to see the Auroras. Food is also decent for the tummy
Getting here
Kierinki Village is easy to reach from Lapland’s main airports, Rovaniemi and Kittilä. Continue your journey by rental car or book a private airport transfer directly to the village.
