Experience Lapland away from the crowds
Discover the nature and landscapes of Central Lapland in small groups. From snowmobile safaris and snowshoeing to Northern Lights trips, reindeer farms and art excursions, experiences can be arranged according to your group’s wishes.
Winter experiences are available from 1 December to 30 March, weather permitting.
Winter Safaris
We arrange our winter experiences according to our guests’ wishes, either driving a snowmobile or travelling comfortably in a sleigh. Before each safari, guests are instructed in the safe use of snowmobiles.
The route starts on easy terrain, giving everyone time to practise before continuing onto narrower trails. Most of our shorter snowmobile safaris take place on our own private routes, with no other drivers around.
Safaris are arranged for small groups of up to 8 people. Along the way, we make stops to enjoy the landscape, learn about local nature and wildlife, and take photographs. Routes are always chosen according to weather and safety conditions.
A Break in the Wilderness
Our private resting place is reserved exclusively for our own groups. Surrounded by the magnificent landscapes of Central Lapland, it looks out across an open bog towards the northern sky and the opposite fell. In the soft light of midwinter, the landscape turns golden orange beneath a pink sky.
We make a campfire, grill sausages and enjoy local berry juice while warming up. During the break, your guide shares stories about local life, nature and wildlife.
Most safaris follow circular routes, so the scenery changes throughout the journey. Along the way, you may encounter grouse, elk, foxes, hares or reindeer.

Long snowmobile safaris include a snack or light lunch in the wilderness. Solo driving is available for experienced drivers.
